How do I update Pirate Quester?
If you're on version 2.0.3 and the change log says the most current version is version 2.0.4 you're a version behind. It could be a good idea to follow this guide.
Pirate Quester is cached in your browsers cache. The cache will last for a session, so what is a session?
A session lasts from when you first open a browser window with a tab until you've closed all browser windows.
So to end the session and update the cache you'd have to close all browser windows and end the session. Upon opening the browser again Pirate Quester should be up to date.
TL;DR: Close all Browser windows and open Pirate Quester again.
Pirate Quester didn't update, what happened?
If you didn't have Pirate Quester open a time after the update was uploaded your browser might not have had time to download the latest version.
To resolve this simply try step 1 again.
If it's still not updated you can try Force Clearing the Cache. To do this you need to be on the base URL (https://piratequester.com) without any arguments. For example piratequester.com/bot/ would give you a 404 error page upon clearing the cache.
So when you're on the base URL simply press Control and F5 on your keyboard to clear the cache and hard reload the page.
Another option is to open the Dev Settings (F12 on your keyboard) and right clicking the reload button in your browser. (Left of the URL Field at the top of the browser). And selecting a Clear Cache option to clear the cache.
When the cache is force cleared the most recent version of Pirate Quester should be immediately loaded.
